About Me

I’m a trained educator, neuroscientist, and psychotherapist. In whatever capacity I’m working, I am passionate about facilitating personal growth, supporting diversity and equity, and connecting with my clients from a place of acceptance and authenticity.

I came to practice therapy as part of my own healing journey. Like many of my clients, I carried around a lot of stuff that was preventing me from living a joyful, fulfilling life - lingering trauma from an alcoholic parent, feelings of low self worth and depression, and an inability to communicate in relationships., and grief from being a primary caregiver to my dying brother.

It took a lot of work to get where I am now - to feel whole, confident, and happy - and this work was not easy. Healing trauma is not easy. It takes time and a lot of skill building, but it can happen. There is a way out.

About My Work

I take a whole-person approach to therapy, recognizing that your thoughts, emotions, and physical experiences are deeply connected.

Many of the challenges people face—stress, depression, trauma—don’t just live in the mind. They show up in the body, in patterns of reaction, and in ways that can feel hard to change.

In our work together, we focus on building self-awareness, learning how to regulate your nervous system, and developing practical skills to respond to challenges differently. This includes noticing what you’re feeling, understanding how it shows up in your body, and learning how to shift those patterns over time.

The goal isn’t just insight—it’s helping you feel more grounded, more in control, and more empowered in your day-to-day life.
